Use Mirka – Gold™ abrasives or a Osborn, llc. – Osborn brush to remove any raised wood fibers/surface imperfections and with great care not to remove any of the hand draw-knife/texturing marks that are present.
Apply either PPG Industries, Inc. – ProLuxe™ Log & Siding or Sashco, Inc. – Transformation™ Log & Timber and Sashco, Inc. – Capture™ Cascade™ Symphony™ high-performance wood coatings.
Apply Sashco, Inc. – Log Jam™ Log Builder™ or Conceal™ sealants to logs and up-checks
